Handcrafted in Melbourne, from Premium American Rock Maple, surfaced on a CNC to be flat and true, and carefully hand sanded and oiled with a foodsafe hardwax oil.  This board comes with a juice groove for capturing any liquids & finger holds for ease of movement 

Rock maple is valued for use in premium cutting boards all over the world.

American Rock Maple has a nearly white or offwhite creamy color, sometimes with a reddish or golden hue. The grain can be wavy and has a fine, even texture. 

End grain cutting boards offer a knife-friendly surface due to the vertical arrangement of wood fibers, which allows the knife blade to slide between them, reducing friction and preserving sharpness. They are highly durable and resistant to cuts and scratches, with a construction that absorbs the impact of knife cuts, ensuring they last longer than other types of cutting boards. Additionally, the wood fibers in end grain boards have self-healing properties, closing up after the knife is removed to maintain a smooth surface and reduce visible knife marks.

This medium sized board is always minimum 200mm wide and 32-35mm thick including its non marking, non slip feet. it will be 300mm long 

For our chopping boards we reccomend monthly maintenance in order to keep them looking and working their best.

• Applying a chopping board oil or board wax monthly prevents your board from drying out and potentiality cracking after repeated uses and any washes.
• Our shop made Mineral Oil and Chopping Board Wax is also available to buy to ensure your board stays in the best condition.
