Maple End Grain Cutting Board - Medium-Large

Handcrafted in Sandhurst, Victoria, from premium American Rock Maple — surfaced on a CNC to be perfectly flat and true, then carefully hand sanded and finished with a food-safe hardwax oil. This medium-large cutting board comes with a juice groove for capturing liquids and finger holds for ease of movement.

Rock Maple is valued for premium cutting boards worldwide for good reason. American Rock Maple has a nearly white or off-white creamy colour, sometimes with a reddish or golden hue, and a fine even texture that looks stunning in any kitchen.

End grain construction positions the wood fibres vertically, allowing the knife blade to slide between them rather than across them — reducing friction, preserving sharpness, and giving the board self-healing properties that keep the surface looking clean over years of use.

This board is always a minimum 350mm wide and 40mm thick including its non-marking, non-slip feet. Length will be between 450–460mm — each board is individually cut to suit its natural strengths and best appearance, so no two are identical.
