Handcrafted in Melbourne, from Premium Tasmanian Blackwood, surfaced on a CNC to be flat and true, and carefully hand sanded and oiled with a foodsafe hardwax oil.  This Board comes with a stunning bevelled edge, and finger holds for ease of movement.

This board can also come with a juice groove for capturing any liquids - just leave a comment in the notes and it will be added prior to shipping

Tasmanian Blackwood is Australia's answer to American Walnut, with a dark chocalate heartwood colour, and stunning grain variations

End grain cutting boards offer a knife-friendly surface due to the vertical arrangement of wood fibers, which allows the knife blade to slide between them, reducing friction and preserving sharpness. They are highly durable and resistant to cuts and scratches, with a construction that absorbs the impact of knife cuts, ensuring they last longer than other types of cutting boards. Additionally, the wood fibers in end grain boards have self-healing properties, closing up after the knife is removed to maintain a smooth surface and reduce visible knife marks.

This medium sized board is 320mm wide and 45mm thick including its non marking, non slip feet. it is 400-430mm long  - What you see in the image is representative of the board you will receive, although each one is unique

For our chopping boards we reccomend monthly maintenance in order to keep them looking and working their best.

• Applying a chopping board oil or board wax monthly prevents your board from drying out and potentiality cracking after repeated uses and any washes.
