Handcrafted in Melbourne from Premium South American Black Walnut, this end grain cutting board is surfaced on a CNC for perfect flatness, then carefully hand-sanded and finished with a food-safe hardwax oil.

This board includes a juice groove to catch liquids and finger holds for easy handling.

South American Black Walnut is prized for its rich chocolate-brown tones, often accented with purples and deep reds. Its grain is typically straight, with occasional waves, and it has a smooth, luxurious texture that makes it both functional and visually stunning.

Why End Grain?
End grain cutting boards are the gold standard for serious cooks. Their vertical wood fibers allow knives to slide between the grain, reducing wear on your blades and preserving sharpness.
